Position Summary

The Retail Sales Executive is responsible for supporting pharmacy operations by assisting in stock management, customer service, and sales activities. The role ensures smooth day-to-day functioning of the pharmacy, promotes Care n Cure products, and delivers excellent customer service in line with company policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities

Stock & Inventory Support

  • Assist the pharmacist in monitoring stock availability and preparing local purchase orders with required approvals.

  • Receive and verify stock deliveries from stores and branches.

  • Arrange shelves, track expiry dates, and manage out-of-stock and non-moving items by coordinating with other outlets.

  • Maintain proper arrangement of cosmetics, toiletries, and other healthcare-related items.

  • Keep records such as pharmacy files, inventory books, expiry records, prescription registers, antibiotic and cortisone logs as per pharmacist’s instructions.

Customer Service & Sales

  • Advise and demonstrate to customers on the selection of medication brands, medical equipment, and healthcare supplements.

  • Promote customer service to the highest standard, ensuring customer delight.

  • Support in promoting and selling Care n Cure’s own products.

  • Monitor and update customer service books, customer care mobile, and trackers daily.

  • Ensure all sales are recorded under the employee’s ID and contribute at least 20% to total pharmacy sales.

Cashiering & Financial Support

  • Act as cashier in the absence of the designated cashier.

  • Handle daily sales computations and ensure accurate record-keeping.

  • Support cash deposit preparation for the bank (where applicable).

  • Manage petty cash and reimbursement processes when required.

  • Monitor insurance/reimbursement papers and other discount approvals for customers.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Record medical representatives’ visits in the logbook and prepare monthly consolidated reports as required.

  • Update sales and customer trackers daily.

  • Report bounce items instantly through the system.

  • Attend management meetings, even on off days, as required.

Housekeeping & Professional Standards

  • Ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and proper arrangements of pharmacy stock.

  • Follow proper dress code and personal grooming guidelines as per company policy.

  • Support pharmacy operations in opening and closing sales sessions.
