Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Workshop Manager to lead our hydraulic crimping operations at Hydrocare General Trading LLC. This is a multifaceted role that combines technical expertise, operational supervision, business development, and team leadership. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in hydraulic crimping, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to managing workflow, customer relationships, and commercial targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day hydraulic crimping activities, both in the workshop and via mobile crimping vans.
- Ensure efficient job execution and timely delivery across all operations.
- Maintain proper workflow, resource planning, and technician scheduling.
- Optimize utilization of mobile crimping vans across assigned zones.
- Manage and lead technicians both within the workshop and on-site operations.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual workshop sales and service targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and customer segments for growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both existing and prospective clients.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of quotations, including material, labor, and lead-time estimates.
- Lead local outreach efforts to improve workshop visibility and brand presence.
- Plan and maintain inventory based on movement trends, focusing on hoses, fittings, and pneumatics.
- Monitor team performance and address productivity or disciplinary issues.
- Investigate and resolve product or service quality concerns.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.
- Continuously enhance overall workshop efficiency and productivity.
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in hydraulic crimping and workshop management
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Excellent planning, coordination, and communication skills
- Commercial acumen with an eye for business development
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Familiarity with workshop tools, safety protocols, and inventory planning
